I am a Blogger
Today I have joined the world of Blogging. I am an avid journal writer and have enjoyed the benefits of journaling. Yesterday I was blessed with the opportunity to share two of my entries with a fellow mother.
When I journal I do so with the idea that the entry is not for anyone elses eyes but God's and mine. But about 3-4 months ago a friend, really a mere acquaintance told me she had a dream about me and she never dreams about people. In the dream I was singing so beautifully is was awesome. This in itself is quite humorous because I am totally tone deaf and can not carry a tune. (I used to teach pre-school and they would not let me do music). Anyway last week on a trip to New York City, God laid on my heart the phrase "Share your song with ***" I laughed and could not imagine how my singing could be a blessing to anyone. The phrase kept coming into my head and I finally realized that the songs I was supposed to share were the songs of a mothers heart as she tries to LIVE through the addiction of a child. So I stepped out of my comfort zone and asked my dreaming friend if I coud share something with her. I had no idea why it was her I was supposed to share with but I did and I was so blessed because unknown to me she was in a similar life struggle.
We truly serve an awesome God. All these months I have been waiting for a beautiful voice to replace the scrtatchy and off key voice I had, only to realize that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
So today I begin a journey into the life of a Blogger. I pray that the songs I sing will be music to the ears of mothers all over this world and that as a group we will all begin to sing songs of LIFE and JOY and PEACE and HAPPINESS most of all LOVE. There is life, and a wonderful life, amidst all the stuff that goes along with addiction.
